Whether you've always wanted to write or you're looking to rekindle your creativity, this introductory creative writing class is the perfect place to begin. Led by Amal Alhomsi, author of Senescence, the class will explore the foundations of writing fiction and memoir—from building compelling characters to shaping vivid scenes and finding your voice on the page. Through writing exercises, group discussion, and thoughtful guidance, you'll begin to develop your own stories in a supportive and open environment. No experience needed—just a willingness to write and share. The goal of the class is to complete one short piece of writing and get feedback from the other students.
